Finishing Touches Construction Service LLC did a great job on our home improvement project. The team was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. They paid attention to the small details and kept everything neat throughout the job. We're really pleased with how everything turned out and would definitely recommend their service.
Why Choose Us
Bathrooms are judged by their details, so we take pride in our custom tile layouts and in work done right the first time.

Questions
It depends on the room and how much changes. In the 2025 U.S. Houzz & Home Study, homeowners nationally reported a median of $6,000 for guest bathrooms and $13,000 for primary bathrooms, so $10,000 sits between the two. A layout change or new tile installation from floor to ceiling moves a project toward the higher end.
Tile, cabinets, countertops, and similar finish work need no approval under the Residential Code of Ohio, though the work still has to meet the code. Moving plumbing, or replacing a defective hidden drain pipe, counts as new work and needs approval. Check with your town or county building department before work starts.
The biggest factors are the size of the room, whether the layout or plumbing moves, the tile and fixtures you choose, and what turns up behind the old walls. Ohio code also calls for a fan vented outdoors in a bathroom without a window and for safety glass near a tub or shower, which can add to the scope, as can new flooring installation in the rest of the space.
Grout joints are not waterproof, so a tiled shower relies on the waterproofed backing behind the tile to keep water out of the walls. In Ohio, water-resistant drywall cannot be used where it faces direct water, so shower walls need a backing made for wet areas. The walls above a tub with a shower head also need tile or another nonabsorbent finish to at least 6 feet above the floor.
It depends on the scope. A shower or tile update moves faster than a full remodel that changes the layout, and plumbing work that needs approval adds inspection time. What turns up behind old walls can also add days, and any drywall repair or fresh interior painting adds more.
